HOW TO PLAY:
The primary focus of this pool is the Point Spread. For example, you will be presented with the week's games. In each game one team will be assigned a point spread (e.g. 7.5) meaning they must win that game by MORE than 7.5 points. Your choice is either choose that team believing they will win by more than 7.5 points, or choose their opponent, believing that the point spread assigned team WILL NOT win by more than 7.5 points.

POINT SPREAD:
Each Wednesday you will recieve an email indicating that the spreads for the week have been posted. Log in, and you will see a link on your home page Make Your Picks for Week 'X'. When you click on it, you will be asked to make your Survivor pick (if you are still a survivor, see below), then make your OVER/UNDER and 'Total Score Guess' of the week's final game, which is for breaking ties in the weekly high score (ie. more than one player has the weekly high score). You will then be directed to the Point Spread page where all the week's games will be displayed. In each game, one team will be assigned a point spread. You will choose that team if you believe they will win by MORE points than the posted spread, or you will choose their opponent if you beleive the point spread team WILL NOT win by the amount of the posted spread. You can only pick 12 of the available games.

AWARDED POINTS >>      1 point per correct pick 0 point per incorrect pick

SURVIVOR:
As opposed to the point spread, Survivor is about picking a team that you believe will win outright that week. If the team you picked wins, you 'survive' to do it again next week, if not, unfortunately, your Survivor is done for the season. A tie game counts as a loss. Not making a pick will be an automatic loss also. Oh yeah, and you can only pick each team only once per season. If you are no longer a Survivor, you will not get the page to select your Survivor pick when you click on Make Your Picks for Week 'X' and rather will be directed to the OVER/UNDER and 'Total Score Guess' page.

HIGHEST WEEKLY SCORE (depending on number of players that year):
If applicable, each week, the player with the highest Point Spread score (regular season only), will be the winner for the week and the prize amount will be displayed beside their username on the home page. As described above in the Point Spread description, if more than one player has the weekly high score, the tie will be broken first by the OVER/UNDER, then if necessary, by the 'Total Score Guess' you made.

LOWEST SCORE:
If you're having a rough year, all is not lost. The player who has the lowest score at the end of the regular season, AND has made all 12 picks each week, will win this prize. It is a free pass for next year

PLAYOFF POOL:
This contest is similar to the regular season Point Spread pool, but with fewer games each week, and there is no weekly high score. It is a fresh start for everyone! The points are awarded a little differently as shown below. Winner Takes All!.

POINTS PER WEEK >>      Week 1 - 1 point per correct pick Week 2 - 1 point per correct pick Week 3 - 2 points per correct pick Superbowl - 4 points for a correct pick

PRIZES:
Prize money, the type of prizes, and their amounts depends each year on the amount of entrance fee's collected.

IN CASE THERE ARE TIES

REGULAR SEASON:
- If 3 or more people are tied with the most points at the end of the season, all the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize money will be split evenly between the tied players.
- If 2 players are tied with the most points at the end of the season and the next highest score is a single player, the 1rst & 2nd place prizes will be combined and split between the 2 tied players, and the next highest score will recieve the 3rd place prize.
- If 2 players are tied with the most points at the end of the season and there is more than one player tied with the next highest score, the 1rst & 2nd place prizes will be combined and split between the 2 tied players, and the third place prize will be split between the players tied with the next highest score.
- If there is a single 1rst place winner, and 2 or more people are tied for 2nd place, the 2nd & 3rd place prizes will be combined and split between the tied players.
- If there is a single 1rst place winner as well as a single 2nd place winner, but there is a tie for 3rd place, the 3rd place prize will be split between the tied players.

SURVIVOR:
If there is more than one player remaining and they ALL go out on the same week (before the season has ended), they will all be put back into the surivivor pool to continue to fight it out until one remains (changed in 2020). If there is more than one survivor left at the end of the season the player with the highest Regular season point total at that time will break the tie. If there is still a tie, the player with the highest "one week total" during the Regular season will take the prize, and if that still dosen't break the tie, whoever had the highest "one week total" FIRST during the Regular season will win.

LOWEST SCORE:
If there is more than one player with the Lowest Score at the end of the season, the player with the lowest "one week total" during the Regular season will take the prize, and if that still dosen't break the tie, whoever had the lowest "one week total" FIRST during the Regular season will win the prize.

HIGHEST WEEKLY SCORE:
If there is more than one person with the week's high score, whoever's OVER/UNDER pick is correct will win the prize. If there is also a tie in the OVER/UNDER, then the Total Combined score guess (closest to the actual combined game score) will break the tie. If there still is a tie ... good God, don't do this! then it will be split between the tied players.

PLAYOFFS:
On Superbowl week, there will also be an OVER/UNDER pick and a TOTAL POINTS SCORED guess. If there is a tie in the Playoff points, the correct OVER/UNDER picks will decide the winner. If there is also a tie in the OVER/UNDER, then the closest to the TOTAL POINTS SCORED guess will be the winner. In the rare event aht both are tied, the prize will be split between the players.
